There has been a lot of it lately. Last week I was informed of a theif in my dorm by a member of staff here at Big, and to ensure valuables were locked away. Apparently someone left their camera in the common room briefly while they went to check their email around the corner and a guy picked his camera up and bagged it. When confronted about it he denied it, but there was CCTV footage to identify him doing it. In the end, late Wednesday night if I recall, two lads confronted the guy from my dorm (I thought him odd when he didn't acknowledge any of us in the room the previous day and that morning). When he denied it again they called the police. They had a bit of a wait on their hands as the guy decided to take a shower as if nothing had happened. Eventually he admitted it and I believe returned the camera. He wasn't in the dorm when I returned there around midnight, and we were unsure if he had been taken away by police, but he returned and left at 3am.
Then lastnight, around 1:45am, having not long dropped off to sleep, the bloody fire alarm goes off! After 15mins we were allowed back in the building. Read a note in the lift this morning that the alarm was caused by a leak which tripped the alarm. It was difficult to get back to sleep after that as they were carrying roadworks out on the main road, which my dorm happens to overlook. All fun and games. At least it wasn't raining, and was pleasently warm!!

Oh! And you can walk the harbour bridge this sunday! To celebrate its anniversary
Hi Rosana, Apologies, but I seemed to have rejected your first comments (it wasn't intentional, I welcome comments especially from those with a point of view). I understand why they ask to check bags, but for me, coming from the UK it was something of a suprise. It's something you get used to.
If you are interested in buying the C21 can I just say how painfully slow it is. You may want to upgrade the RAM from 512MB to 1GBMB, although im not to sure that will speed up loading/shutting down time. Perhaps it is my impatients? Other than that it seems ok. I've only had it a couple of days so I've barely worn it in.
Thanks for the tip re: walking the Harbour bridge. I did that a couple of weeks ago...when I wouldn't have to share it with cira 200k others lol Looking forward to the celebrations thought. Sydney certainly knows how to throw a good party!
Thanks for your comments, and apologies again for the rejection of the first post (feel free to rewrite your point of view re: my shopping rant and I will be sure to publish it this time).
Take care
Lee
Hi Lee
Sorry I have been silent for a while- have been in South of France for sight seeing and golf 5 day break. It may not be Australia but wine and dining out great especially at harbour side in T-shirts. It's great to catch up with your activities. Good luck with the job search. With your laptop purchase you stand a better chance with those high tech jobs. The roasting you had recently on the beach is nothing compared to the clip you'll get across the ear when you get home if you purchase many more large items (only kidding!)
We have booked to go to Dublin after Easter. H is looking forward to the Guiness.
All the best Lee, keep up the good work on the fitness and tan -I bet your a little more bronzed by now but keep toped up on the high factors.
Love Gill
